What is ClearHealth, exactly?

ClearHealth is a portable, HSA-compatible health coverage concept — an alternative to employer-locked insurance designed around cash pricing, tax-advantaged savings, and a clear maximum out-of-pocket limit.

Your coverage is yours. It is not tied to a specific employer, open-enrollment job change, or COBRA clock. A small employer can help fund it, but losing that employer should not mean losing the plan.

You pair it with an HSA. Because the plan is structured as a high-deductible health plan, eligible members can use an HSA. You can contribute directly, and an employer can contribute where allowed under IRS rules, using pre-tax or tax-deductible dollars.

See the price before you go. Your plan card tells any provider: "bill your posted cash price or 120% of Medicare — whichever is lower." You pay from your HSA until your deductible is met.

Your exposure is capped. The plan's maximum out-of-pocket limit protects members from unlimited covered expenses; stop-loss reinsurance protects the program from unusually large claims.
